I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a private practice in Oakland, California. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and have had the privilege of serving a diversity of individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and sexual orientation/identity backgrounds with a wide range of issues including life transitions, marital/familial distress, stress, and significant loss.
I earned my doctorate in psychology from Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology, San Francisco in 2007. I completed my pre- and post-doctoral training at the Berkeley Therapy Institute. Upon my licensure in 2009, I built a practice at the Berkeley Therapy Institute as a clinical psychologist. In 2013 I joined Spherical Medical group as a neuropsychological consultant specializing in competency evaluations in the geriatric population. From 2014 to 2022 I served as the Director of Training for the internship and post-doctoral program at the Berkeley Therapy Institute. In this role I led didactic and experiential seminars helping new clinicians step into their role as therapist. I continue to supervise interns and post-doctoral students both through my private practice and the Berkeley Therapy Institute.
I have served on the boards of the Berkeley Therapy Institute and the Northern California Community for Emotion Focused Therapy.
I truly love my job. I feel so grateful to get to know all my clients and explore together how they can have a happier, more satisfying life.
